Movie Recommendations for Christians
There's zillions of movies out there, but many of them have harmful messages and content that run counter to a Christian worldview. To truly live an abundant life, one must guard the media that's allowed in, but everyone loves a good movie, right? This hand-picked list contains over 60 quality movies that are not only great movies, but will actually support or at least complement your faith, rather than be a negative or leave you feeling "slimed". These are not all necessarily "Christian movies" or 100% free of concerning content, but are ones where the positive content far outweighs any bad. You can pick any movie on this list and have a good chance that you will have a great uplifting movie watch that overall supports rather than counter-acts your faith.
Each one on the list gives a suggested youngest age for watching the movie. Make sure you read the review as it will likely highlight any concerning content as well as notable themes and worthwhile discussion content.
To be clear, none of the movies are watchable on this site - you will need to search for the one you pick to watch on Amazon or similar for either watching via streaming or buying the DVD or Blu-ray (many of which you can buy used copies of on Amazon/eBay and the like relatively cheaply). Many of the films on this list have had Blu-ray releases, which is recommended for the highest visual/audio quality.
